About Me

I have a strong passion for dance performance, choreography, and teaching. I am in my last year at at Brigham Young University, where I hope to acquire the skills and knowledge to become a public school dance educator. I believe strongly that the performing arts have the potential to change lives and shape well rounded individuals. I had the opportunity to choreograph for high schools, local pageants and Brigham Young University. As an undergraduate I have performed Missa Brevis, a master work by Jose Limon with Utah’s Repertory Dance Theater. I am a third year member of BYU’S Contemporary Dance Theatre, and I have toured nationally and internally with the company. I am so excited to be an artsbridge scholar and help implement movement into the lives of Ms. Thorstroms third grade class.
